Holiday Valley Review ’16

Ellicottville is a charming ski town at the base of the resort of Holiday Valley. It rivals any ski town in the country. Restaurants, boutiques and shops, night life, hotel, inns, B&B’s and yes, a craft brewery. And it is within driving distance of Buffalo, home of the Bills and more significantly during the ski season, the Buffalo Sabers hockey team!

Holiday Valley is the a jewel in the Western New York skiing tiara. Although it does not qualify as a 1k (One thousand feet of vertical rise) consistently ranks to the Eastern “Top 50” resort list.

It is considered to be family friendly, and a mecca for seniors. But it also has some fantastically fun glade (tree skiing), great mogul runs, superb terrain parks, and “The Wall” as brief as it might be, is a steep to challenge anyone.

(Hold your horses please, more to come. this post in under revision)
